Produced by Spontaneous Celebrations, JP's community arts organization, WUTE Festival is a celebration of the organization's years long effort to stop the building of an interstate highway through the middle of the neighborhood. Now, instead of a dividing structure, we have a public train line and the Southwest Corridor park, where the festival is held! This annual celebration includes four stages, over 150 local artists and vendors, over 25 local activist organizations, a dozen food trucks, a farmers market, kids activities, and more! This family oriented event is always free to attend and open to the public. It is recommended that folks take the T (Orange Line to Stony Brook Station), since parking can be limited in the surrounding neighborhood. We look forward to seeing you there!
